The Green Paw & Spaw is a family-owned grooming salon and pet boutique on East Street, a few blocks south of downtown Golden. It grooms dogs and cats of every size and age, makes a point of accommodating older and special-needs pets, and takes walk-ins for quick nail and face trims. It is tagged self-wash in our records; it does not show a PACFA tag, so ask about licensing when you book.
Furtastic Pet Grooming works from Simms Street at the Golden-Lakewood line just south of West Colfax, now trading online under the Lakewood Pet Grooming name. The groomers pool more than 60 years of experience, book dogs, cats and small animals by appointment, and offer same-day quick services for nails and tidies. The listing carries a PACFA licensed tag.
A practical note for Golden dogs: Clear Creek is the summer swimming spot, and creek silt plus Jeffco trail dust is exactly what a quick wash exists for. Colorado licenses groomers under PACFA, and 2025 rule updates added vaccination recordkeeping at grooming facilities.
