The Green Paw & Spaw is a family-owned grooming salon and pet boutique on East Street, a few blocks south of downtown Golden. It grooms dogs and cats of every size and age, makes a point of accommodating older and special-needs pets, and takes walk-ins for quick jobs like nail trims and face tidies that are done in minutes. The shop's title and navigation reference a self-wash and pet-sitting, and Visit Golden recommends it for a post-hike cleanup, so ask about the self-wash when you call. The boutique side stocks toys, treats, and collars from local vendors, and the owners are involved with area rescues and search-and-rescue groups.
