Furtastic Pet Grooming works out of a salon on Simms Street at the Golden-Lakewood line, just south of West Colfax, and its website now trades under the Lakewood Pet Grooming name. The groomers pool more than 60 years of experience and say they schedule by quality rather than quota, so a full groom gets the time it needs. Cats and rodents are handled as well as dogs, and quick services such as nail trims can often be done the same day. Hours vary with the booking load, so call rather than drop in. The business is on the Colorado Department of Agriculture's active PACFA list under Furtastic Pet Grooming, Golden, as a licensed grooming facility.
