Peak One is the Forest Service campground on Frisco's Peninsula Recreation Area, reached by turning left off Highway 9 just south of town. Recreation.gov lists 80 sites for tents, trailers and RVs with picnic tables, fire rings and drinking water, no electric hookups, and a $28 nightly single-site fee. The Forest Service noted the water system was down in August 2026, so pack your own. Trails on the peninsula connect to the Frisco rec path, and the marina is a short ride away. Shade is limited after hazard-tree removal.
