Lowry is a 27-site campground at 9,320 feet on the Swan Mountain side of Dillon Reservoir, about a mile and a half up Swan Mountain Road from Highway 6. Sites 2 through 24 have electric hookups and are reservation-only through recreation.gov; three tent-only sites are first-come. Bear-proof food lockers are at every site and food must be stored. Pricing is on the Forest Service developed-campground page, with extra fees for electricity and additional vehicles. The campground is set back in the trees rather than on the shore, so it is a quieter base for the Keystone and Breckenridge trails.
