Wynetka Ponds Bark Park is one of South Suburban Parks and Recreation's two official off-leash parks, on South Lowell Boulevard near Bowles in southwest Littleton. The district describes two fenced grassy areas for dogs of different sizes and play styles, a shaded pavilion, benches, seasonal water fountains and a parking lot off Lowell. Posted rules require licensed, vaccinated dogs, bar puppies under four months and dogs in season, keep the small-dog side for dogs under 25 pounds and cap it at three dogs per handler. It is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Zymos Brewing is a few blocks north for afterward, and shade is limited, so time summer visits early.
