Broken Compass Brewing – Main Street Taproom

Broken Compass's downtown taproom sits at the south end of Main Street, directly across from the base of Peak 9, so it is an easy stop after a hike up the Burro Trail. The brewery says it plainly: well-behaved pups on leashes are welcome both inside and on the patio here. Sixteen taps pour the house lineup, including the Coconut Porter and Ginger Pale Ale, and the brewery does not cook, so BreckFast downstairs handles food service from 11:30 to 2. It suits anyone who wants a true indoor-okay taproom within walking distance of lodging and the Riverwalk.
