Locavore Beer Works is a neighborhood brewery on South Platte Canyon Road in southwest Littleton with a taproom, a front patio and a grassy backyard biergarten that doubles as a vegetable garden. The taproom FAQ is specific: friendly dogs are welcome inside and on the front patio, but the biergarten out back is a no-dog zone, and a dog that keeps barking may be asked to step outside. Pinball, darts and games fill the game-room side, and the site notes four restaurants within walking distance since there is no kitchen. Hours shift with staffing and weather, so check before a special trip. The Platte River Trail is a short drive east.
