Fox Run Dog Park sits in the southeast corner of Fox Run Regional Park north of the city, the closest county off-leash park for Monument, Gleneagle and northern Colorado Springs. Enter at the main park entrance on Stella Drive and bear right. The main area is five fenced acres with a half-mile loop trail; a separate 1.5-acre yard with a lower fence is reserved for dogs of 25 pounds or less. There is a picnic table, trash cans and a donation pipe but no water, so bring your own. County rules require spayed or neutered, vaccinated and licensed dogs over four months, handlers 18 or older, and no runners, bikes or horses inside.
