Dog policy

Confirmed from the business's or agency's own published policy · last checked 2026-10-24.
Cheyenne Meadows Park serves the city's south side, with views of Cheyenne Mountain over the ballfields. The city's dog park here is the fenced native-grass area in the park's south portion, reached from Charmwood Drive and Canoe Creek Drive rather than the main Glen Meadow Drive entrance. It is a simple grass enclosure rather than a destination park, which makes it a quick morning stop for locals and for anyone camping at Cheyenne Mountain State Park, where dogs are limited to a few trails. City rules apply: leash until inside, vaccinated and licensed dogs, three dogs per person, pick up after your dog.
