East Boulder's dog park sits beside the East Boulder Community Center and the park's pond, off Sioux Drive south of Arapahoe. The city describes a fenced large-dog area of roughly 1.5 acres and a small-dog area of about .45 acre, with limited water access to a small lake for dogs that like to swim, and notes that some dogs can climb the fencing. It is free and open dawn to dusk, with restrooms, drinking fountains and parking in the community park. Leash laws apply the moment you step outside the fence, aggressive dogs are prohibited, and guardians must pick up after their dogs. Tennis, pickleball and turf fields share the park.
