WestFax is the dog-friendliest taproom on the 40 West stretch of Colfax in east Lakewood, and its FAQ says so in detail. Pups are welcome inside any time as long as they are friendly, and the brewery keeps water bowls and treats behind the bar for the asking. The house rules are sensible: leashed at all times, no furniture, no barking or growling, keep walkways and the bar clear, and take bathroom breaks outside. There is a patio as well, and the brewery runs a second taproom in Colorado Springs. Hours stretch to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and the taproom is a short walk from the W Line's Lamar Station.
