Mountain Toad Brewing

Mountain Toad sits at the north end of Washington Avenue with a big, dirt-floored beer garden that is the real draw for dog owners. The brewery's FAQ spells it out: dogs and other pets are fine in the beer garden, can pass through the tasting room, and can come inside with you while you order, as long as they stay leashed and behave. Food trucks roll through nearly every day, with the calendar posted on the website, so you can plan dinner around your pint. The brewery is a short walk from Clear Creek Trail, which makes it a natural stop after a creekside loop with the dog. Expect a lively, family- and dog-heavy crowd on sunny weekends.
