Golden City Brewery

Golden City Brewery has poured beer a few blocks from the Colorado School of Mines for more than three decades, and the setup is about as low-key as it gets: a taproom in a converted carriage house with a gravel backyard beer garden full of picnic tables. The brewery's own site does not post a written pet policy, but Visit Golden and local press describe the backyard as a regular hangout for dogs with their people. Treat it as likely but unconfirmed, and give them a call if your dog is the deciding factor. The brewery runs its own food truck on site, and the hours shift seasonally, so check before heading down 12th Street.
