Puppy Love is a family-run boarding kennel and grooming shop on County Road 234 in the Animas Valley north of Durango, operated by the same owners since the mid-1990s according to the city's visitor listing. Each boarder gets an individual run, and dogs are exercised in a covered outdoor yard several times a day. Pick-up and drop-off hours are generous on weekdays and limited to two short windows on Sundays, so plan around them. Grooming is available on site. It is a traditional kennel rather than a cage-free daycare, which some dogs prefer.
