Doudy Draw follows a shallow creek south through ponderosa savannah, then climbs onto the Flatirons Vista mesa for one of the best dog-level views of the whole Flatirons skyline. The first half mile is wide and accessible; the climb beyond the Spring Brook junction is where it earns its 450 feet. Voice & Sight tag holders can go off leash on most of it, but note the no-dog Spring Brook Loop South spur and the fall leash season for bears on the upper draw. Horses and bikes share the trail. The picnic area restroom is a handy turnaround for short-legged dogs. Rattlesnakes in summer.
