Sanderson Gulch Dog Park is southwest Denver's off-leash area, located in Sanderson Gulch Park near West Arkansas Avenue and South Lipan Street in the Mar Lee and Ruby Hill area. It appears on Denver Parks & Recreation's official list and follows the citywide rules: licensed, rabies-vaccinated dogs that are spayed or neutered or carry a Denver Intact Permit, handlers aged 16 and up, no children 10 and under, and a two-dog limit per person. The city does not list it as lighted, so hours run sunrise to sundown. The Sanderson Gulch trail runs through the park for a leashed walk, and the park's gate carries the city's green, yellow or red condition sign.
