Berkeley Lake Dog Park occupies a corner of Berkeley Lake Park at West 46th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard on the city's northwest edge, with the lake trail and Willis Case Golf Course as neighbors. It is on Denver Parks & Recreation's list of official off-leash areas and runs under the citywide rules, which require a Denver license, rabies vaccination and spay/neuter or an Intact Permit, cap each handler at two dogs, and bar children 10 and under from entering. Hours are sunrise to sundown since the city does not list it as lighted. The Tennyson Street restaurants, including Hops & Pie and The Grateful Gnome, are a short drive east for a post-park meal.
