Kennedy Dog Park sits at the southeast corner of the city beside the Kennedy Park soccer complex and golf course, near Hampden Avenue and South Dayton Street. It is one of the off-leash areas listed by Denver Parks & Recreation, and like the others it runs on the city's standard rules: dogs must be licensed, current on rabies and spayed or neutered unless they hold a Denver Intact Permit, handlers must be 16 or older, and each person may bring no more than two dogs. The park is not listed as lighted, so hours are sunrise to sundown. Staff post green, yellow or red condition signs at the gate; red means closed. Dial 311 for maintenance concerns.
