Railyard Dog Park is downtown Denver's off-leash area, tucked beside the Union Station rail lines near 19th Street and Little Raven Street in the Riverfront Park neighborhood. It is the only park that Denver Parks & Recreation's dog park page specifically describes as lighted, which gives it longer hours than the rest: 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. Standard rules apply, including a Denver license, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter or an Intact Permit, a two-dog limit per handler and no children 10 and under. Because it serves a dense high-rise neighborhood it can be busy at commute hours. Commons Park and the Platte River trail are steps away for a leashed cool-down walk.
