Greenway Dog Park sits along the Westerly Creek greenway at East 22nd Avenue and Syracuse Street, between the Central Park neighborhood and East Colfax. Denver Parks & Recreation lists it among the city's official dog parks, so the standard rules apply: a Denver license, current rabies vaccination, spay/neuter or an Intact Permit, a maximum of two dogs per handler, and no entry for children 10 and under. It is not listed as lighted, which means it is open sunrise to sundown. The adjoining trail network makes it easy to combine an off-leash session with a longer on-leash walk, and the Paws 'n' Play self-wash on Beeler Street is a few minutes north if your dog comes out muddy.
