Tap and Handle is the 74-tap beer bar on South College at the south edge of Old Town, open every day from 11:30 to 11 with a pub menu of pretzels, Reubens, spaetzle bowls and Chicago dogs. Wednesday is smash-burger night and happy hour runs weekday afternoons. The bar's site does not publish a pet policy or describe its outdoor seating, so call ahead before counting on a table with your pup. The draft list rotates constantly and is posted online. It is an easy walk from the Mason Trail and the MAX bus line, and sits a few doors from several other patios if the first one is full.
