Gilded Goat's Midtown taproom sits in the shopping center next to Trader Joe's on South College, with a second, smaller taproom in Old Town on West Mountain Avenue. The taproom page describes the patio as an extension of the room, simple and comfortable, cool in summer and heated by furnace heaters in winter, and says outright that it is a great place to bring your pups. That year-round patio is the draw for dog owners who want somewhere outside the Old Town crush. Midtown hours are 1 to 9 Monday through Thursday, noon to 9 Friday and Saturday, and noon to 7 Sunday. Food trucks are scheduled on the events page and a mug club is offered.
