Equinox is the Old Town brewery on Remington Street, a block east of College Avenue and steps from the Old Town Square patios. The site describes a beer garden and patio with shady spots for a pint, more than a dozen taps, and no regular live music. The website is spare, listing hours of 2 to 8 Monday through Wednesday, noon to 10 Thursday through Saturday and noon to 8 Sunday, plus the phone number and address, but no pet policy, so call before bringing a dog to the patio. Its location makes it the easiest brewery to reach on foot from downtown hotels like the Elizabeth and the Armstrong.
