Steamworks is Durango's big downtown brewpub on East Second Avenue, a block off Main, with a long list of medal-winning beers and a kitchen known for its Cajun boil, pizzas and Southwestern plates. Third-party listings say dogs can sit at the sidewalk tables, with the caveat that there is no table service outside so someone has to go in to order. The brewery's own site does not publish a dog policy, so phone before you plan on it. Kegs and growlers go out the door, and it is within walking distance of the Animas River Trail.
