Sage Valley Pet Center is a long-running boarding and grooming kennel on West 54th Avenue in the open country north of Golden, between Highway 93 and the Fairmount area. Directory listings say it has boarded pets since 1996, and it appears on the Colorado Department of Agriculture's active PACFA list under Sage Valley Pet Center, LLC with licenses for boarding and grooming. We could not find a working website, so hours, vaccination requirements, and rates need to come from a phone call. The rural setting means more space than an in-town facility, which some owners of big or high-energy dogs prefer. Confirm details before booking, especially for holiday weekends.
