Screening and vaccines
Camp Bow Wow Fort Collins puts every dog through a camper screening before a first stay. Dogtopia of Fort Collins treats daycare as the gateway to boarding, so a new dog usually does a day in the playrooms first. Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella are required everywhere; canine influenza and leptospirosis are commonly requested in group-play settings, and licensed facilities now keep vaccination records on file under the July 2025 PACFA update. Fort Collins is home to CSU's veterinary hospital, so a last-minute booster is easier to get here than in most towns, but the flu series still needs three to four weeks.
Hours
Camp Bow Wow and Dogtopia both open at 6:30 a.m. on weekdays. Dogtopia runs 9 to 7 on Sundays and closes entirely on the Fourth of July, which catches people out; Sit Means Sit's office is 9 to 7 weekdays. Confirm the pickup window on your return day before you book, and ask whether a late pickup bills as another night.
