Singletree Park serves the neighborhoods north of I-70 near Denver International Airport, and the city's listing includes an off-leash dog area among its amenities alongside a playground, picnic shelter and basketball half court. Visit Aurora puts the dog area at about a third of an acre in the park's southeast corner, fully fenced, with a shaded pavilion and picnic tables close by. It is open dawn to dusk and free. The size makes it best for a quick sniff-and-stretch rather than a long run, and there is no water on site, so bring a bowl. For northeast Aurora dog owners it is the closest city-sanctioned place to drop the leash.
