Southern Sun Pub & Brewery

Southern Sun is the Table Mesa sibling of the original Mountain Sun pub, a ten-barrel brewpub with a living-room feel, burgers and a long list of house beers. The location page calls out an expansive patio, which is the obvious place to sit with a dog after a hike up the Mesa Trail or a loop through the South Boulder Creek trails that start minutes away. The pub is open seven days a week from noon to 11 with the kitchen closing at 9. Mountain Sun does not publish a pet policy on its site, so call the pub before you bring your dog to the patio. Cash and card accepted; tips are pooled.
