Garden of the Gods RV Resort sits at the west end of Colorado Avenue between Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. Its posted pet policy is detailed: dogs and cats only, RV sites carry no pet fee but are limited to two dogs, and cabins take up to two pets for $50 each. Pets stay on leashes of about six feet or shorter, cannot be left tied out alone, and are barred from the office, store, pavilion, pool and playground. The resort excludes breeds it considers aggressive, naming pit bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, German shepherds, chows and wolf hybrids. An on-site Bark Park gives dogs an off-leash break.
