The Eddy is a newer hotel on 8th Street at the west end of downtown Golden, built around a taproom and lawn where local beer and food from the Truck Eddy kitchen are the draw. The pet page and FAQ are unusually clear: dogs of any size or breed are welcome, up to two per room, with a per-stay fee of $125 for one or $200 for two, and they are not to be left alone in the room. Arriving dogs get a bandana and a Pup Shake, and the FAQ says dogs are welcome on the taproom patio and in the indoor dining area. A city dog park is about a three-minute walk.
