Denver's dog-friendly stays are downtown hotels rather than cabins, and three of them publish unusually generous policies.
Hotel Teatro, across 14th Street from the Denver Performing Arts Complex, lets well-behaved dogs stay at no added charge with no strict weight limit; the conditions are a leash outside the room and a crate if the dog is left alone. The Magnolia on 17th Street goes a step further: dogs stay free with no deposit, all sizes and breeds are welcome, and the limit is two pets per room, registered at the front desk. The Maven at Dairy Block in LoDo charges a one-time $50 per dog, allows dogs only (no cats), caps rooms at two, and will set out a bowl and bed if you tell them in advance.
All three sit within a short walk of Union Station, which puts Railyard Dog Park, the city's downtown off-leash area, within reach for a morning run. Everywhere else downtown, including the 16th Street Mall and the Cherry Creek Trail, Denver's leash ordinance (DRMC §8-16) applies.
Two practical notes for visitors: RTD buses and trains allow only small pets in closed carriers, so plan on walking or driving, and Denver summers push pavement temperatures high enough to burn paws from mid-June through August, so time walks for early morning.

Hotel Teatro and the Magnolia Hotel both post no-charge pet policies. Teatro has no strict weight limit but requires a leash outside the room and a crate if the dog is left alone; the Magnolia allows all sizes and breeds, two pets per room, with no deposit. The Maven charges a one-time $50 per dog.
Railyard Dog Park, Denver's downtown off-leash area, sits beside the Union Station rail lines near 19th and Little Raven. Dogs must be licensed, current on rabies and spayed or neutered or permitted, with two per handler. Outside the fence, the city leash law applies.
Only small pets in closed carriers are allowed on RTD buses and trains. A larger dog means walking or driving. All three hotels are within walking distance of Union Station, LoDo and the Cherry Creek Trail, where dogs must stay leashed under Denver's ordinance.
