Kinship Landing is a boutique hotel on South Nevada Avenue at the south end of downtown, built for people who come to Colorado Springs to be outside. Rooms range from king suites with fireplaces to family suites with bunks and an outdoor camp deck, and HOMA Cafe + Bar downstairs serves coffee through cocktails from 7 am to 10 pm. The pet policy is specific: up to two dogs under 80 pounds each, $49 per night, and dog guests are placed in the pet-friendly Mountain Jr. Queen rooms on the second floor. Cats are not accepted because of allergies. The new Antlers Park dog park and the Pikes Peak Greenway are a short walk.
