El Colorado Lodge is a cluster of 27 modernized adobe cabins on the east end of Manitou Avenue, a short drive from downtown Manitou and the Garden of the Gods. Directory and booking-site listings describe it as allowing pets only in designated pet-friendly units, requested at booking, with a deposit or fee and, per a newer listing, a two-dog limit; one listing notes new ownership and ongoing renovations. We could not reach a lodge-operated website to verify the current policy, so call before booking, ask which cabins take dogs and what the fee is, and confirm whether dogs may be left unattended. Red Rock Canyon's off-leash loops are about five minutes away.
