Goat Patch took over the former Pikes Peak Brewing building on Lake Woodmoor Drive, so Monument and Woodmoor residents still have a local taproom within a short drive of the Santa Fe Trail and Fox Run Regional Park. The brewery's site says well-behaved dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas at Monument, which is where you should plan to sit with your dog; it does not list the indoor space as dog-friendly. Hours are noon to 9 pm Monday through Saturday and noon to 8 pm on Sunday, with last call 15 minutes before closing. Pair it with the off-leash park at Fox Run, about ten minutes east.
