Bristol Brewing anchors the Ivywild School, a converted elementary school on South Cascade that now holds the brewery, Bristol Pub, a bakery, a bar and Spark BBQ. The pub has a large sunny patio, and the outdoor Schoolyard has picnic tables, Adirondack chairs and fire pits, which is where most people with dogs end up. Bristol's website does not publish a pet policy and we did not find hours posted there, so this one is firmly call-ahead: phone the pub, ask whether dogs are allowed in the Schoolyard that day, and plan to stay outdoors. It is a short drive from Cheyenne Cañon and the Broadmoor area trails.
