Dog Daycare in Lakewood
Lakewood's one listed daycare is a Dogtopia near the Green Mountain trailheads, so here is the setup and the nearby alternatives.
Dogtopia of Lakewood opened on West Alameda Parkway near Union, a short drive from the Forsberg-Iron Spring dog park and the Green Mountain trails. The format is the chain's standard: dogs are grouped into supervised playrooms for open play, enrolled owners can watch the rooms on webcams, and boarding and spa services are available in the same building. It is tagged PACFA-licensed, which means the Colorado Department of Agriculture licenses and inspects it under the boarding/training facility category of the Pet Animal Care and Facilities Act; Colorado has no separate daycare license.
A single listing undersells the area. Camp Bow Wow Lakewood South, listed under Lakewood boarding, runs all-day group play for day campers as well as boarders on South Wadsworth near Hampden. West Denver daycares such as The Sniff Shack on West 44th Avenue are close to north Lakewood. If you run a daycare in Lakewood, listing here is free.
Published Front Range drop-in rates as of October 2026 run about $53 to $58 a day, with weekly plans and unlimited memberships lowering the per-day cost. Bring rabies, DHPP and Bordetella records to enrolment, and ask whether canine influenza is required.
