Mako's Way Dog Training and Behavior

Mako's Way is a one-trainer practice in Golden run by Anna Griffin, an honors graduate of the Academy for Dog Trainers who focuses on reward-based methods and the relationship between dog and owner. The work is mostly private sessions covering puppy socialization, confidence building for newly adopted dogs, fear and reactivity, loose-leash walking, recall, polite greetings, cooperative care, and trail manners, which matters for anyone hiking North Table Mountain with a dog. The Academy directory also lists group classes, day training, and online options. There is no storefront, so contact goes through the website. The business is insured and bonded and gives Golden as its home base.
