Urban Dogg's Wash Park location on South Downing Street sits a block from Washington Park, which makes it easy to pair a muddy lap of the park with a bath. The shop offers the same menu as its Uptown sibling: full-service dog grooming with bath, haircut and nail trim or grind, cat grooming, and a small boutique of premium food, treats and toys. Same-day appointments are a stated specialty, so a phone call is the quickest route to a slot. Hours are 8 to 6 daily, an hour shorter than Uptown, with a temporary Tuesday closure noted through early November. First-time full grooms carry a $25 new-client discount.
