Hops & Pie

Hops & Pie is a Berkeley neighborhood institution on Tennyson Street pairing artisan pizza with a serious rotating craft beer list. The sidewalk patio is a popular spot in the Tennyson shopping district, and the street draws plenty of dog walkers, but the restaurant's site does not post a pet policy, so call before planning a visit with your dog. Hours start at 3 on Mondays and around 11 the rest of the week. The nearby Berkeley Lake Dog Park is one of the city's larger off-leash areas, which makes a run-then-pizza outing easy to put together on the north side of town.
