Edelweiss serves schnitzel, sausages and German beer on East Ramona Avenue south of downtown. The restaurant's draw in warm weather is the Biergarten, which the site says opens once temperatures reach the fifties, plus a heated patio for cooler evenings. Several Colorado Springs dog-friendly guides describe the biergarten-style patio as dog friendly and shaded, but Edelweiss's own website does not post a pet policy, so confirm by phone before bringing your dog and expect outdoor seating only. Reservations are available online. Bear Creek Dog Park is about ten minutes away.
