Asher brews organic beers, and its Gunbarrel taproom is a laid-back neighborhood hangout a couple of blocks from Avery. The site describes an outdoor patio for pints plus a "Funbarrel" game room with darts, cornhole and pool, and lists Tree Hugger Amber, Green Bullet IPA and a Mexican lager among the regulars. Hours are 2 pm to midnight daily. Asher does not post a dog policy online, so call ahead if you plan to bring your dog to the patio. Handy for people living or working in Gunbarrel who want a quieter alternative to the bigger production breweries nearby.
