Mountain Dogs runs a 5,000-square-foot daycare and boarding building on Juanita Street east of downtown. Boarding is priced at $55 per 24 hours for one dog, less per dog for multiples, and includes a full day of supervised play in two indoor and two outdoor yards split by size and temperament. Dogs nap in kennels from 11 to 2 and overnight, under security cameras monitored around the clock. Staff can handle medications, seniors, puppies and dogs with disabilities. Requirements are stricter than some: five vaccines including leptospirosis, neutered males over six months, and a signed agreement with records submitted at least 24 hours ahead.
