Boarding kennel in Boulder, Colorado
Dogs must have current rabies, distemper and Bordetella vaccinations; Cottonwood requires a trial day before a boarding stay.
Confirmed from the business's or agency's own published policy · last checked 2026-10-24.
Cottonwood Kennels has boarded Boulder dogs for more than 50 years from a farm property on Valmont Road east of town, and many of its staff have been there over a decade. The business boards dogs, cats and small animals and runs daycare, with individualized care and plenty of outdoor space to explore. New boarding dogs do a required trial day first, and vaccination requirements are posted on the FAQ page. The office is open 7:30 to 6 every day, with facility tours between 9 and 11 am. Multi-pet and extended-stay discounts and a punch-card program are offered, and bookings run through an online client portal. A traditional, family-run option rather than a franchise.
Policies change. Check with the business before you go, and tell us if something here is out of date.
