The day itself
Mountain Dogs runs play blocks from 8 to 11 and 2 to 6 with a kennel nap between, in two indoor and two outdoor yards split by size and temperament, and trainers work dogs on leads for basic manners during the day. Dogtopia sorts by size, temperament and play style into playrooms with a midday nap, and its webcams are on except during naptime. Under The Sun splits large and small dogs, takes them to the dog park and opens a private pool in summer. Interview days are standard; Camp Bow Wow East supervises with counsellors trained in pet first aid and CPR.
Five vaccines, not three
Mountain Dogs requires rabies, Bordetella, distemper, parvo and leptospirosis, and males over six months must be neutered. Most other Springs daycares require the first four and recommend lepto and canine influenza. With the city's respiratory-outbreak history and the July 2025 PACFA record-keeping rule, bring the full vaccine printout to the trial day, and start a flu series three to four weeks before.
