Not A Bully started as an online dog-behavior resource and now runs in-person training from West Bijou Street on the near Westside, between downtown and Old Colorado City. Its certified professional trainers teach group classes and private consultations, and the site says in-person work is currently offered only in Colorado Springs. The emphasis is on helping owners understand why their dog behaves the way it does, with breed-specific guides for shepherds, huskies, pit bulls and others, virtual training, and a free ask-a-trainer feature if you just have a question. It suits owners who want a reward-based approach and classroom time rather than a send-away program. Check the site for current class dates.
