Out on East Bayaud Avenue near the Aurora Reservoir, the business long known as SunShine Dog Ranch now operates as L.O.L.A.'s Rescue Center & Boarding, pairing a dog rescue with paid overnight stays. The site pitches it simply: large, cozy indoor kennels that are temperature controlled, staff who know dogs, and a stay that helps fund the rescue side of the operation. Bookings are made by calling or emailing rather than online, and the site encourages reserving early for holiday periods. The ranch setting east of E-470 suits owners heading out of town who want a lower-key alternative to the big daycare chains closer in.
Policies change. Check with the business before you go, and tell us if something here is out of date.
